He hails from a family of illustrious photographers, once popular as Anjee & Sons, he considers photography an act of worship and still enjoys doing it every day of his life.
He chased his shutterbug dream at the cost of his education. Passionate and professional, experienced and exceptional; Ramesh is a home grown talent, who learnt photography skills under his uncle a qualified photographer placed at the governor’s residence.
His career began as a lab technician and grew from strength to strength as Ramesh garnered the nitty – gritty behind a camera – his favourite Yashica FX3. He worked at National Color Lab & New Empire Color Lab before moving to Prakesh Color Lab as an outsourced Sindhi wedding specialist. His very first assignment was a wedding that has now grown to be a family bond with all 6 sibling weddings under his kitty. His clientele include odd combinations that create an awe inspiring testimony for the onlooker – a mother who called him back for her daughter’s wedding, a bride’s father who called back to congratulate the grooms side photographer for being better at capturing memories of a lifetime, an agency that refuses to let him go and a loyal clientele that is definitely a happy flourishing family he has clicked.
Ramesh has held official postings at the Governor’s Residence himself during the tenure of Her Excellency Mrs. Rama Devi. The official fanfare, the high profile dignitaries and the often distanced setting is something he has learnt to manoeuvre to bring out the human connects in every posed photograph. His portfolio includes distinctive events with distinguished dignitaries at national and international platforms; both corporate and otherwise.
He has handled work at Nano Science, Coffee Festivals, Bio Technology, ITBT and later when it was merged to be BTS: Bangalore Tech Summit. ISC event at Kolkatta where he clicked PM Manmohan Singh is his prized memory. He is a regular at STPI events and has photographed nearly all events at Coke India. His work has led him to travel both in and out of India. Some of the international destination weddings clicked includes Srilanka, Singapore and one in USA too.
